How to Use
Fit the collar snugly against the skin, not loosely over the coat. Pheromone release depends on contact and body heat, so a collar hanging loose won't work properly. You should be able to slide two fingers underneath.
Trim the excess length once fitted, following the package directions.
Leave it on continuously for the three-month life of the collar. Remove it for bathing or swimming and let the coat dry before putting it back on.
Start it ahead of a predictable stressful period rather than at the moment of it.
Pheromone products work alongside other approaches rather than instead of them, so it's fine to combine with a calming supplement, a wrap, or prescribed medication.
Cautions
Not recommended for use with hyperactive or aggressive dogs.
