YuMove Max is the vet strength version of YuMove's joint formula, made specifically for cats. It is built on ActivEase Green Lipped Mussel, with glucosamine and hyaluronic acid alongside it.

Arthritis in cats is both very common and badly underdiagnosed, because cats do not limp the way dogs do. What owners see instead is a cat who has stopped jumping to the counter, hesitates before going up stairs, sleeps somewhere new because the old spot is now too high, grooms less over the back and hips, or has started missing the litter box because stepping into it hurts. ActivEase Green Lipped Mussel is YuMove's proprietary source, selected for its omega-3 content. The formula aids the body's own anti-inflammatory processes, supports joint structure, and helps maintain mobility. Hyaluronic acid is in there as the main component of synovial fluid, the fluid that lets joint surfaces glide.

It comes as a capsule, which can be given whole or opened onto food.

How to Use

Give daily, following the label or your veterinarian's direction. The capsule can be opened and the contents mixed into wet food, which is usually the easier route with a cat.

Plan on six to eight weeks of consistent daily use before judging the result. With cats the change is often in what they start doing again rather than anything dramatic, so it helps to write down two or three specific things your cat has stopped doing and check back against that list.

Make the house easier while you are at it. A step or low stool to a favorite perch, and a litter box with one low side, remove the obstacles a stiff cat is quietly working around.
