Wahl Fidela Cordless Trimmer
Wahl Fidela Cordless Trimmer
For dogs and cats.
Product Description
The Fidela is Wahl's lightweight cordless detail trimmer, built for the areas a full-size clipper handles badly: faces, ears, paws and paw pads, and sanitary areas.
Everything about it is designed around a pet that doesn't want to be held still. It weighs 141 grams, so your hand doesn't fatigue during fiddly work, and the slim body gives real control in tight spots. The motor runs at 6,000 RPM with low noise and low vibration, which matters more than most specs on this kind of tool, since noise is usually what makes a dog object to being trimmed around the face.
The precision-ground U-blade cuts at 0.4 mm and detaches for quick cleaning. Runtime is up to two hours cordless on the lithium-ion battery, with USB-C charging and an LED charge indicator. It works across coat types, including curly, wavy, short, medium, wiry, and combination coats.

How to Use
Charge fully before first use. Attach the appropriate guide comb for the length you want, or use the bare blade for close work.
Work in short passes and let the trimmer do the cutting rather than pressing into the coat. Keep the blade flat against the skin on paw pads and sanitary areas.
Clean the blade after every use with the brush, and apply a few drops of blade oil along the teeth. Oiling is what keeps a trimmer cutting well and running cool, and skipping it is the usual reason a trimmer seems to lose power.
Note that a power adapter is not included, only the USB-C cable.
Safety
Blades heat up with extended use. Check the blade temperature against the back of your hand periodically and give it a moment to cool if it's warm.
Trim with care around the sanitary area, the inside of the ear, and between the paw pads, where skin is thin and loose. Keep the skin taut and go slowly.
Keep the trimmer and cable away from water, and store it where pets and children can't reach it.
