VetriScience Allergy & Itch Support Duck Flavored Supplement for Dogs
VetriScience Allergy & Itch Support Soft Chews for Dogs
For dogs. Duck flavor.
Product Description
Allergy & Itch Support, previously sold as Allergy Plus, is VetriScience's daily chew for dogs dealing with itchy skin from seasonal and environmental allergies. Rather than working on the skin alone, it approaches the problem through immune and gut health, on the reasoning that an irregular immune response is what drives the symptoms in the first place.
Three ingredients carry the formula. QRILL Pet krill meal supplies omega-3 fatty acids, which are more bioavailable from krill than from most other sources, and support strong, healthy skin. Chinese skullcap and acacia catechu extracts are antioxidants included to support a normal histamine and inflammatory response. And Probio65, a patented strain of Lactobacillus sakei, supports the gut, which is increasingly understood to be connected to skin health.
The chew is made with hydrolyzed duck flavor, so it suits dogs who react to chicken and other common protein sources — a real consideration, since the dogs buying this are often the ones with food sensitivities too.
It's safe to give seasonally when symptoms flare or daily year-round.

Probio65 (Lactobacillus sakei) — 20 mg

How to Use
For dogs only. Give one chew daily for dogs up to 15 lbs, and two chews daily for dogs over 15 lbs, or as directed by your veterinarian.
Give it consistently. Omega-3s and probiotics both work over weeks, so start before allergy season rather than waiting for the flare.
Additional Information
For dogs. This is a nutritional supplement, not an FDA-approved drug, and not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis or treatment. Tell your veterinarian about all supplements your dog receives, particularly another fish or krill oil, so the omega-3 total isn't doubled. Krill is a shellfish-derived ingredient. Store in a cool, dry place with the container closed. Keep out of reach of children.
