Vetrimec Paste (Ivermectin 1.87%) — Broad-Spectrum Equine Dewormer
Vetrimec Paste is a single-dose oral dewormer that clears the parasites most likely to compromise a horse's condition — strongyles, ascarids, pinworms, bots, and more — in one convenient syringe. What it treats
Strongyles — Large strongyles including Strongylus vulgaris (plus early forms in the blood vessels), S. edentatus (plus tissue stages), S. equinus, Triodontophorus spp., and Craterostomum acuticaudatum. Small strongyles (adults and fourth-stage larvae) across the Coronocyclus, Cyathostomum, Cylicocyclus, Cylicodontophorus, Cylicostephanus, and Petrovinema genera.
Other internal parasites — Pinworms (Oxyuris equi), ascarids (Parascaris equorum), hairworms (Trichostrongylus axei), large-mouth stomach worms (Habronema muscae), lungworms (Dictyocaulus arnfieldi), and intestinal threadworms (Strongyloides westeri).
Bots — Oral and gastric stages of Gasterophilus intestinalis and G. nasalis.
Skin conditions — Summer sores caused by cutaneous larvae of Habronema and Draschia spp., and dermatitis associated with Onchocerca microfilariae.
Directions
Administer orally at the labeled rate based on your horse's body weight. Set the dose ring on the syringe barrel, insert the tip into the corner of the mouth, and deposit the paste on the back of the tongue.
