Vetericyn Plus VF Ophthalmic Wash is a gentle eye rinse for flushing irritated eyes and cleaning around minor eye injuries. It's built on hypochlorous acid, a compound the animal's own immune cells produce naturally, formulated so it can be used on ocular tissue without stinging.
Practically, it's the bottle you reach for when your dog comes in from the yard squinting with something in the eye, when discharge needs wiping away, or when a course of prescription eye drops calls for the eye to be cleaned first. Flushing debris and crust away before medicating helps the drops reach the surface they're meant to treat.
It's also gentle enough for use around newborn puppies and kittens, including before the eyes have opened.

How to Use
Flush the affected eye and surrounding area as needed. Hold your pet's head steady, apply, and let the excess run out — no rinsing afterward. Don't touch the bottle tip to the eye or lid, and wipe discharge away from the inner corner outward with a clean cloth or gauze.
If you're also applying prescription eye medication, use this first and give it a few minutes before the medicated drop.
