Product Description
Liver Support is a daily soft chew formulated to support normal liver function in dogs and cats. It's built around milk thistle and dandelion root, with glutathione, a full set of B vitamins, vitamins C and E, and superoxide dismutase, plus a blend of digestive enzymes and a probiotic.
Milk thistle is the ingredient most owners recognize, and it's the most studied botanical in this space — silymarin, its active constituent, is the compound liver supplements across both human and veterinary markets are generally built on. Glutathione and the antioxidant vitamins are included to support the liver's normal handling of oxidative stress.
The liver is the organ that processes most of what an animal ingests, including medications, which is why liver support comes up frequently for older pets and for pets on long-term drug therapy.
The soft chew is palatable and dosed by weight, so it works for cats as well as dogs.

How to Use
Give daily by body weight, following the label or your veterinarian's direction. For dogs and cats over 12 weeks of age.
Give it consistently. Liver values change slowly, and this is a product meant for sustained daily use rather than a short course.
Cautions
For dogs and cats. This is a nutritional supplement, not an FDA-approved drug, and not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis or treatment.
Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been established. Stop use and consult your veterinarian if your pet's condition worsens or does not improve.
Tell your veterinarian about all supplements your pet receives. This matters more with liver products than most — the liver metabolizes the majority of drugs, and a pet on liver support is often a pet on other medication.
Keep out of reach of children and pets. The chews are palatable, so store the container securely.

Elevated liver enzymes on bloodwork have many causes, and a supplement doesn't replace finding out which one applies. Yellowing of the eyes, gums, or skin, vomiting, loss of appetite, weight loss, increased drinking and urinating, a swollen abdomen, or disorientation all warrant prompt veterinary attention.
Cats are particularly unforgiving here: a cat who stops eating for even a day or two can develop hepatic lipidosis, which is a serious liver condition in its own right.
