Product Description

SAMeLQ combines S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe) with a supporting antioxidant blend to help maintain normal liver function in dogs and cats. SAMe is a compound the body produces naturally and one the liver relies on heavily; supplementing it is a common part of a liver-support routine, often alongside N-acetyl L-cysteine, which contributes to the body's normal detoxification pathways.

The formula also includes quercetin, L-taurine, zinc ascorbate, licorice root extract, and a set of B vitamins. It comes as a chewable tablet, which makes daily dosing considerably easier than a capsule — particularly in cats.

How to Use

Give as directed by your veterinarian, based on your pet's body weight.

SAMe is best absorbed on an empty stomach — typically at least an hour before a meal — so timing matters more with this supplement than with most. Ask your veterinarian how they want it given, and keep it consistent.

Store the tablets in the sealed container. SAMe is sensitive to moisture, so keep the bottle closed and don't leave tablets sitting out.
