Provecta Pro Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs
For dogs and puppies 12 weeks and older. One size, adjustable.
Product Description
Provecta Pro is a six-month flea and tick collar for dogs, combining deltamethrin 4% with methoprene 1.02%.
The two actives cover different parts of the problem. Deltamethrin kills fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes on contact, so parasites don’t need to bite to be affected. Methoprene is an insect growth regulator that kills flea eggs and larvae, which interrupts the life cycle rather than just clearing the adults currently on the dog. That combination is what makes the difference between knocking back an infestation and ending one.
One collar covers six months, which makes it one of the lower maintenance options available. For owners who forget monthly topicals, a collar that works for half a year is often the difference between protection and a gap.
It’s designed around practical use: flexible enough to be comfortable worn continuously, with a breakaway buckle that releases under pressure if the collar snags.

How to Use
Remove the collar from the packaging and unroll it. Fit it around your dog’s neck so you can slide two fingers underneath comfortably, then trim the excess length following the package directions.
Check the fit regularly, particularly on a growing puppy. Replace after six months, or as directed on the label.
Wash your hands after handling it and after adjusting it.
Safety
For dogs and puppies 12 weeks and older. Do not use on cats.
Deltamethrin is a pyrethroid, and pyrethroids are toxic to cats. In a household with both, keep cats from grooming or sleeping against the treated dog, and watch for drooling, tremors, or twitching in a cat that has had close contact. That is an emergency and needs a veterinarian immediately.
Keep children from handling the collar. Remove it before bathing or swimming if the label directs, and follow the label on water exposure.
Talk to your veterinarian before use on a dog that is debilitated, aged, pregnant, nursing, or on medication, and stop use and contact them if your dog develops skin irritation under the collar, excessive scratching, drooling, tremors, or behavior changes.
Store in the sealed package until use and keep out of reach of children and pets.
