Prazosin (pra-zoe-sin) may be prescribed for relaxing the urinary tract to allow passage of urine or bladder stones. Prazosin may also be prescribed in dogs to treat high blood pressure or heart failure.
- Helps passing of bladder stones
- Lowers blood pressure
Consult with your veterinarian for proper dosage and course of treatment.
Prazosin should not be used in animals that are allergic to it.
This medication should be used with caution in pets who have kidney problems or who have low blood pressure.
Food and Drug Interactions
Other drugs can interact with this medication, so be sure to tell your veterinarian and pharmacist what medications (including vitamins, supplements, or herbal therapies) you give your animal

Possible Side Effects
Possible side effects include lethargy, weakness, dizziness, or gastrointestinal effects (eg, vomiting, lack of an appetite, diarrhea, constipation) are possible but not common.
Contact your veterinarian if you believe your pet is experiencing side effects.
Store at controlled room temperature of 59° - 77°F in a dry place and protect from light
