Description

Quellin (quell-in) Soft Chews is the only non-steroidal anti-inflammitory drug (NSAID) created using Bayer patened soft-chew technology. Indicated for the relief of pain and inflimmation associated with osteoarthritis and post-operative pain typical of soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries in dogs. Simple to administer to your dogs and simple for the dogs to chew. Savory meat flavor with no animal protiens, scored to enable simple dosing and uniform active-ingredient distribution.

Warnings

Quellin, like other drugs, may cause some side effects. Serious but rare side effects have been reported in dogs taking NSAIDs, including quellin. Serious side effects can occur with or without warning and in rare situations result in death.

Precautions

Quellin should not be used in dogs exhibiting previous hypersensitivity to carprofen. Keep out of reach of children. Not for human use. Consult a physician in cases of accidental ingestion by humans. For use in dogs only. Do not use in cats.

Food and Drug Interactions

Quellin should not be given with other NSAIDs (for example, aspirin, deracoxib, etodolac, firocoxib, meloxicam, tepoxalin) or steroids (for example, cortisone, dexamethasone, prednisone, triamcinolone). Tell your veterinarian about all medicines you have given your dog in the past, and any medicines that you are planning to give with quellin. This should include other medicines that you can get without a prescription. Your veterinarian may want to check that all of your dog’s medicines can be given together.

Human Warnings

Keep out of reach of children. Not for human use. Consult a physician in cases of accidental ingestion by humans.

Possible Side Effects

Adverse reactions may include decreased appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, dark or tarry stools, increased water consumption, increased urination, pale gums due to anemia, yellowing of gums, skin or white of the eye due to jaundice, lethargy, incoordination, seizure, or behavioral changes.

Contact your veterinarian if you believe your pet is experiencing side effects.
