O3 Omega Fish Oil Liquid for Dogs and Cats
For dogs and cats.
Product Description
O3 Omega is a liquid omega-3 supplement for dogs and cats made from wild Alaskan pollock oil and wild Alaskan salmon oil. Both are naturally rich in EPA and DHA, the two long-chain omega-3 fatty acids that do the work in fish oil.
Skin and coat are the best-supported use and the most common reason people buy it. Dry, flaky skin and a dull coat are what owners notice, and omega-3s are among the better-evidenced supplements in veterinary nutrition for that. It also provides nutritional support for joint comfort and mobility and for immune and cardiovascular function.
The pump bottle is the practical advantage over capsules. Dosing by weight is straightforward, it mixes into food without a fight, and it suits cats and small dogs who won’t swallow a softgel.

How to Use
Pump the labeled amount onto your pet’s food daily, following the label or your veterinarian’s direction.
Give it time. Skin and coat changes generally take several weeks to show, so judge it after a month or two rather than a week.
Store it properly and use it within a reasonable window after opening. Fish oils oxidize with heat, light, and air, and rancid oil smells off and does nothing useful. If your pet suddenly refuses it, suspect the oil before you suspect the pet.
Fish oil adds fat and calories, so factor it into the daily total for a pet you’re managing for weight.
Additional Information
For dogs and cats. This is a nutritional supplement, not an FDA-approved drug, and not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis or treatment.
Tell your veterinarian about all supplements your pet receives, particularly another fish oil or omega product, so EPA and DHA are not doubled up. Talk to your veterinarian before starting a pet on anticoagulant medication, with a history of pancreatitis, or scheduled for surgery, since high doses of omega-3s can affect clotting.
Store in a cool, dark place with the cap closed. Refrigerate after opening if the label directs. Keep out of reach of children.
Talk to your veterinarian
Persistent itching, hair loss, scabbing, or recurring skin and ear infections deserve an exam. Allergies, fleas, mites, and endocrine disease such as hypothyroidism or Cushing’s all present as poor skin and coat, and a supplement supports the skin without addressing any of them.
