Description

Ketorolac (ikee-toe-role-ak) Ophthalmic Solution is used to treat inflammation of the eye or to treat itchy eyes caused by allergies. It works by inhibiting substances called prostaglandins that cause inflammation

Precautions

This drug should be used with caution in animals that have bleeding tendencies or are on other medications that thin the blood (eg, aspirin, heparin, clopidogrel), that have dry eye syndrome, asthma, eye injuries as this class of drugs may delay healing, or that are pregnant or nursing

Human Warnings

Wash your hands before administering this medication. Do not touch the dropper tip or allow it to touch your animalʼs eye or any other surface to prevent contamination.
Keep away from children and other animals

Possible Side Effects

Mild burning, stinging, irritation, or redness of the eyes has been reported

Contact your veterinarian if you believe your pet is experiencing side effects.
