Glyde is a joint soft chew built around green lipped mussel, with glucosamine and chondroitin alongside it.

Green lipped mussel is what makes this formula different from the standard glucosamine and chondroitin chew. It is a whole-food marine ingredient carrying its own omega-3 fatty acids, and at 760 mg per chew it is the largest component here rather than a token inclusion. Glucosamine at 600 mg and chondroitin at 300 mg supply the cartilage building blocks underneath it.

Those three together are aimed at joint health and cartilage development rather than at masking discomfort, which makes Glyde a long-term maintenance product for an aging or hardworking dog rather than something that works overnight.

Available in 60 and 120 count. The 120 is the better value for a large dog or a long run.

How to Use

Give daily by body weight, following the label or your veterinarian's direction. Most dogs take the chew by hand as a treat.

Plan on six to eight weeks of consistent daily use before judging the result. Joint supplements build slowly, and inconsistent dosing is the most common reason they appear not to work.

Keep your dog lean and keep exercise regular but moderate. Body weight is the single biggest factor you control in joint comfort, and short frequent walks generally suit a stiff dog better than one long outing at the weekend.
