Glucosamine 5000 is a concentrated glucosamine powder for horses, supported by vitamin C, selenium, and alpha-linolenic acid.

Glucosamine is a building block the body uses to make proteoglycans, the molecules that give cartilage its resilience and help synovial fluid do its job. Supplementing it is the most common nutritional approach to joint maintenance in working and aging horses, and it is dose-dependent, which is where a concentrated single-ingredient powder has the advantage over a blended product carrying a token amount.

Vitamin C is included because it is required for collagen formation, and selenium and alpha-linolenic acid add antioxidant support.
