Other drugs can interact with famotidine so tell your veterinarian what medications (including vitamins, supplements, herbal therapies, and treats) you are giving your animal

Human Warnings

There are no specific precautions required when handling this medication unless you are allergic to it. Wash your hands after handling any medication.

Possible Side Effects

Famotidine is generally tolerated well by both dogs and cats, but in some animals it may cause vomiting, diarrhea, decreased or loss of appetite dry mouth or skin.

Contact your veterinarian if you believe your pet is experiencing side effects.
