EquiShield FG Fly Guard Roll-On for Horses

Product Description

EquiShield FG Fly Guard Roll-On is a plant-based insect repellent for horses, formulated with citronella oil, cedarwood oil, and peppermint oil. It repels the biting insects behind most cases of insect bite hypersensitivity in horses, including gnats, biting flies, mosquitoes, and ticks.

The roll-on applicator is what makes this version worth having. Fly spray is fine over the body but difficult around the face, ears, and other sensitive spots, where most horses object to an aerosol and the areas that matter most for a sweet-itch horse are exactly those thin-skinned places gnats target. A roll-on puts the product precisely where you want it with no overspray and no flinching.

The formula is eco-safe with no artificial colors or additives.

Ingredients

Active: Citronella oil, cedarwood oil, peppermint oil

Other: Purified water, isopropanol, glycerin, carbomer, sodium hydroxide, DMDM hydantoin

How to Use

Brush the coat thoroughly first to remove excess dust and dirt. Apply directly onto the coat before riding, showing, or turning out.

For the face and other sensitive areas, apply to a soft cloth and wipe on rather than rolling directly.

Reapply as needed. Natural repellents generally need more frequent application than synthetic pyrethroid products, especially in heat or after work.

Cautions

For external use only. For use on horses.

Do not apply to the eyes or mucous membranes. Avoid contact with eyes.

Keep out of reach of children and animals. Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place and protect from freezing.
