Dr. Marty Nature's Blend Active Vitality Freeze-Dried Meal for Dogs Ages 7 and Up, 16oz
Dr. Marty Nature's Blend Active Vitality — Freeze-Dried Raw Food for Dogs Ages 7 and Up
For dogs 7 years and older.
Product Description
Nature's Blend Active Vitality is a freeze-dried raw food formulated for dogs in their later years. It combines premium meat with vegetables, fruit, and selected superfoods, with no artificial preservatives or fillers.
Freeze-drying is what makes raw feeding practical for most households. The food is shelf-stable in the bag, so there's no freezer space to find and no thawing to plan around — you rehydrate the portion with warm water and serve. The rehydrated texture and aroma also tend to appeal to older dogs whose interest in a dry bowl has faded, which matters when appetite starts slipping.
The formula is aimed at the things that change with age: digestion, immune health, joint comfort, and energy level.
Benefits
Formulated for Senior Dogs: Built around the needs of dogs 7 and older.
Freeze-Dried Raw: Raw nutrition without freezer storage or thaw time.
Real Ingredients: Premium meat, vegetables, fruit, and superfoods.
Nothing Artificial: No artificial preservatives or fillers.
Appealing to Older Dogs: Rehydrated aroma and texture often help with a fading appetite.
Adds Moisture: Served rehydrated, it brings water into the diet — useful for dogs who don't drink much.
How to Use
Follow the feeding chart on the package for your dog's weight. Add warm water to the portion, let it rehydrate fully, then serve. Can be fed as a complete meal or used as a topper over your dog's current food.
Transition gradually over about 7 days, starting at roughly 25% new food and increasing every couple of days. That matters more with a raw or freeze-dried food than with a kibble switch, since the composition is quite different from what your dog is used to.
Handle it as you would any raw product: wash hands and bowls after preparation, and refrigerate any rehydrated portion your dog doesn't finish rather than leaving it out.
Additional Information
For dogs. Store in a cool, dry place with the bag sealed. Always provide fresh water.
Weight loss, appetite change, increased thirst, or new stiffness in an older dog deserve a veterinary exam rather than a food change on its own — kidney disease, dental pain, arthritis, and endocrine conditions all present that way and none are solved by switching foods.
