Product Description

DOUXO S3 PYO Wipes are pre-moistened pads from Ceva that cleanse the skin and support its microbial balance, combining chlorhexidine digluconate 3% with Ophytrium, a purified natural ingredient extracted from Japanese mondo grass root, selected for its tolerance and its action across all three of the skin's barriers.

Wipes cover the areas a bath handles badly. Skin folds on a bulldog or pug, nasal and lip folds, chin acne lesions, between the toes on dogs, the groin, under the tail: places that stay damp, get overlooked, and cause most of the recurring trouble. A wipe reaches them in under a minute without wetting the whole animal.

That makes them particularly useful for cats, where a full bath usually isn't a realistic option. They're also the easiest way to keep a routine going, since a daily fold wipe is a habit most owners can actually maintain. The formula contains no soaps, sulfates, parabens, phthalates, or colorants, which matters on sensitive skin.

How to Use

Gently wipe the targeted area once daily for 7 to 14 days, or as directed by your veterinarian. Work the pad into the skin rather than just over the coat. Do not rinse.

Use a fresh wipe for each area, and don't carry a wipe from a problem area to a clean one.

For skin folds, dry the area afterward with a clean cloth. Residual moisture is what causes the problem in the first place.

Close the container tightly after each use so the remaining wipes don't dry out. Wash your hands after use.

Cautions

For external use on dogs and cats only. Do not use between the toes of cats.

Avoid contact with eyes. If eye contact occurs, rinse thoroughly and consult your veterinarian. Discontinue use and consult your veterinarian if skin irritation occurs or increases.

Chlorhexidine can cause rare but serious allergic reactions in people. If you develop allergy symptoms while handling the product, stop using it and seek medical treatment.

Store at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children.

Recurring skin problems usually have an underlying cause. Allergies, fleas, mites, yeast overgrowth, and endocrine disease such as hypothyroidism or Cushing's all present as itchy, inflamed, or infected skin, and a topical manages the surface without addressing any of them.

See your veterinarian if the skin worsens or doesn't improve, if there is significant odor, discharge, crusting, or hair loss, or if your pet is losing sleep or damaging the skin by scratching. Deep or widespread infection generally needs systemic treatment alongside topical care.
