Description

Dexamethasone (dex-a-meth-a-zone) is a glucocorticoid steroid that may be used in animals as an anti-inflammatory or immunosuppressive agent. It is often used in the treatment of certain autoimmune diseases, blood disorders, bronchitis caused by allergy triggers, some spinal cord diseases, brain swelling, certain forms of arthritis along with other diseases.
