Dental Rinse Water Additive for Dogs and Cats, 8oz

Dental Rinse Water Additive for Dogs and Cats

For dogs and cats.

Product Description

Dental Rinse is a water additive from Stratford that works on the bacteria behind bad breath and gum trouble, without asking you to brush.

The appeal is that it requires nothing of your pet. You add it to the water bowl and the treatment happens every time they drink. For the large number of dogs and cats who will not tolerate a toothbrush, and for cats in particular, a water additive is often the only oral care that actually gets done consistently. Consistency is most of what matters here.

It is formulated to be tasteless and odorless, which is the detail that decides whether a water additive works in practice. A pet who notices it and drinks less has been made worse off, not better.

This is a maintenance product. It helps control the bacterial side of oral disease between cleanings. It does not remove tartar that has already hardened onto the tooth.

How to Use

Follow the directions on the bottle for the amount to add per bowl of fresh water, and change the water daily.

Use it every day. The benefit comes from continuous low level exposure, not from occasional use.

Keep a second bowl of plain water available when you first start, so a fussy pet always has an untreated option and total water intake does not drop.

A water additive is a maintenance step, not a substitute for a cleaning. Visible tartar, red or bleeding gums, a dropped appetite or chewing on one side are signs of disease below the gumline that needs to be looked at.
