Product Description

Ceragyn Barrier Spray is a liquid bandage for wound care. On contact, it forms a flexible, gel-like film over the treated area, creating a physical barrier between the wound and the environment while it heals.

The barrier format is what makes it useful. Plenty of wounds sit in places that are difficult or impossible to bandage — a face, a flank, a joint that flexes, the space between toes — and a sprayed-on film covers those without wrapping, tape, or anything for the animal to chew off.

It's formulated with Purifect Technology, from the ceragenin class of compounds. It contains no steroids, antibiotics, alcohol, iodine, or chlorine, and it's non-stinging, non-staining, and non-irritating, which matters when you're spraying something onto an animal that's already sore.

Indicated for the management of infected wounds, open wounds, cuts, abrasions, minor lacerations, incisions, scratches, scrapes, bite wounds, burns, skin irritations, and rashes.

How to Use

Gently remove excess dirt and debris from the wound area first.

Remove the cap and apply liberally to the affected area from a distance of two to four inches. Apply once or twice daily, or as often as needed, until healing takes place.

Do not rinse or wipe it off. Let the spray dry naturally so the barrier can form.

Keep your animal from licking the treated area while it dries.

Consult a veterinarian in the case of deep puncture wounds or serious burns.

Discontinue use and contact your veterinarian if redness, irritation, or swelling develops.

Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place.
