BLUE Wilderness Chicken with Wholesome Grains Recipe — Adult Dog Food

Product Description

BLUE Wilderness is built around what dogs are naturally drawn to: meat. Deboned chicken leads the ingredient list, backed by chicken meal for concentrated protein that supports lean muscle in active adult dogs. Where the original Wilderness line skipped grains entirely, this recipe adds wholesome ones — oatmeal, barley, and brown rice — for steady complex carbohydrates and fiber that supports healthy digestion.

Every bag includes Blue Buffalo's LifeSource Bits: a cold-formed blend of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals selected by animal nutritionists and veterinarians. Cold-forming preserves nutrient potency that high-heat processing can degrade, and the bits are packed with omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids for skin and coat health.

Like all Blue Buffalo food, it's made without chicken by-product meals, corn, wheat, or soy, and no artificial flavors or preservatives.

Benefits

Real Meat First: Deboned chicken is the first ingredient, with chicken meal adding concentrated protein for lean muscle maintenance.

High-Protein Formula: Higher protein content than standard adult maintenance recipes, suited to active and energetic dogs.

Wholesome Grains: Oatmeal, barley, and brown rice deliver complex carbohydrates and digestible fiber.

LifeSource Bits: A cold-formed antioxidant, vitamin, and mineral blend supporting immune health and life-stage needs.

Skin and Coat Support: Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids help maintain a healthy coat and skin.

No Fillers: No corn, wheat, soy, or poultry by-product meals, and no artificial flavors or preservatives.

Feeding Guidelines

Feed according to the chart on the bag, adjusting for your dog's age, weight, and activity level. Split the daily amount into two meals and keep fresh water available at all times.

When switching from another food, transition gradually over 7 days — start with about 25% new food and increase the proportion every couple of days until you've fully changed over. Abrupt switches are the most common cause of digestive upset.

For adult dogs. Store in a cool, dry place and keep the bag sealed to maintain freshness.
