Product Description

Amino B-Plex is a liquid B complex with a full amino acid blend, aimed at pets who are run down, underweight, or recovering.

B vitamins are the cofactors that let the body turn food into usable energy. They are water soluble, which means the body does not store a reserve and a pet who is eating poorly, vomiting, or losing fluid runs short of them quickly. That is the situation this is built for. Pairing them with eleven amino acids, including taurine and the branched chain aminos, addresses the protein side of the same problem.

The liquid format is the practical reason to choose it. A pet with a poor appetite is usually a poor candidate for a tablet, and a flavored liquid can go directly into the mouth or onto a small amount of food. Dosing is by body weight with a syringe, so the same bottle works for a cat and a large dog.

• Proprietary amino acid blend, 6.67 mg (lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, taurine, threonine, arginine, leucine, isoleucine, valine, glutamine, histidine)
• Pantothenic acid (calcium pantothenate), 5 mg
• Niacinamide, 5 mg
• Spirulina, 3.34 mg
• Potassium (tri-potassium citrate), 3.34 mg
• Vitamin B1 (thiamine HCl), 1 mg
• Vitamin B2 (riboflavin 5-phosphate), 1 mg
• Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine HCl), 1 mg
• Iron (ferrous sulfate), 56 mcg
• Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin), 2 mcg

Other ingredients: water, glycerin, fructose, natural flavors, citric acid, gelatin, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, xanthan gum.

How to Use

Give by mouth or on a small amount of food. The label directs:

• 5 lbs or less, 0.5 mL twice daily
• 5 to 20 lbs, 1 to 1.5 mL twice daily
• Over 25 lbs, 2 to 3 mL twice daily

Measure with a syringe rather than a spoon. The doses are small enough that the difference matters.
