Advantage Household Fogger

Product Description

The Advantage Household Fogger is a total-release indoor fogger that treats the part of a flea infestation most owners never see. Only a fraction of a flea population lives on the pet; the rest is eggs, larvae, and pupae sitting in carpet fibers, along baseboards, in upholstery, and in pet bedding. Treating the dog or cat alone leaves that reservoir intact, which is why infestations keep coming back.

The fog penetrates carpets, rugs, drapes, upholstery, pet bedding, floor cracks, and open cabinets. It kills adult and pre-adult fleas, flea eggs and larvae, ticks, and other listed insects including bedbugs, cockroaches, beetles, lice, mites, flies, and gnats. Nylar, an insect growth regulator, stops immature fleas from developing into biting adults, giving control for up to seven months.

Each canister treats a room up to 16 ft by 16 ft with an 8 ft ceiling, or 2,000 cubic feet of unobstructed space.

Pyrethrins 0.05%, Esfenvalerate 0.10%, Piperonyl Butoxide 0.10%, MGK 264 Insecticide Synergist 0.16%, Nylar 0.10%. Other ingredients 99.49%.

How to Use

Read the entire product label before use and follow all label directions.

Before you start: remove all people, pets, and birds from the area. Cover and turn off fish aquariums. Remove or cover dishes, utensils, food, and food preparation surfaces, or wash them afterward. Open cabinets and cupboards you want treated. Cover wood floors and wood furniture near the canister with newspaper or a dropcloth.

Use one canister per room, and never more than one in the same room. Do not use in small enclosed spaces such as closets, cabinets, or under counters and tables. In a room 5 ft by 5 ft or smaller, let the fog drift in from an adjoining room rather than setting off a canister there.

The canister releases fully in about two hours. Ventilate the area for at least two hours after that, or until no odor remains, before anyone comes back in.

For a real infestation, treat the whole house at once and treat every pet in the household on the same day. Vacuum before and after, and wash pet bedding on hot. Fleas in the pupal stage are resistant to insecticide, so seeing some fleas a week or two later is normal and does not mean it failed.
