Use caution when using in sick, underweight, or debilitated pets. At labeled doses of REVOLUTION, dogs positive for the MDR1 mutation (eg. collies, Austrailian shepherds, shelties, long haired Whippets) should tolerate the medication, but use cautiously. Higher doses may cause neurological toxicity in these dogs.

Food and Drug Interactions
None documented.
Caution is advised if using other drugs that can inhibit p-glycoprotein. Those dogs at risk for the MDR1 genetic mutation (eg. collies, Austrailian shepherds, shelties, long haired Whippets, "white feet" breeds) should probably not receive REVOLUTION with the following drugs and drug classes, unless tested normal:
- AMIODARONE
- CARVEDILOL
- CLARITHROMYCIN
- CYCLOSPORINE
- DILTIAZEM
- ERYTHROMYCIN
- ITRACONAZOLE
- KETOCONAZOLE
- QUINIDINE
- SPIRONOLACTONE
- TAMOXIFEN
- VERAPAMIL
Human Warnings
Not for human use. Keep out of reach of children.
In humans, REVOLUTION may be irritating to skin and eyes. Reactions such as hives, itching and skin redness have been reported in humans in rare instances.
Individuals with known hypersensitivity to REVOLUTION should use the product with caution or consult a health care professional.
REVOLUTION contains isopropyl alcohol and the preservative butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT).
Wash hands after use and wash off any product in contact with the skin immediately with soap and water.
If contact with eyes occur, flush eyes copiously with water.
In case of ingestion by a human, contact a physicial immediately.
Wait 2 hours or more after applying to bathe the animal or allow to go swimming.
Dispose of empty containers in the regular trash.
Do not pour unused product down the drain.
