The FreeStyle Libre 3 Reader is a handheld touchscreen receiver that displays real-time glucose data from a paired FreeStyle Libre 3 sensor — no smartphone required. Readings stream automatically over Bluetooth every minute, so there's nothing to scan and no test strips or lancets to carry.

Pet owners managing a diabetic dog or cat under veterinary direction often prefer the dedicated reader over a phone app: it stays with the animal's care kit, doesn't depend on a compatible phone or OS update, and keeps a single continuous record for your veterinarian to review.
