Andis enVISION Cordless Clipper, 12-Piece Pet Grooming Kit

For dogs and cats.

Product Description

The enVISION is Andis's complete at-home grooming kit, built around a corded and cordless clipper with everything needed to do a full groom in one box.

The blade is the feature that makes it approachable. It's a titanium-ceramic set that adjusts from 0.25 mm to 1 mm with a lever, so you change cutting length without swapping blades or owning a collection of them. That removes the main barrier for owners who want to groom at home but don't want to learn a blade numbering system. The ceramic edge also runs cooler than steel, which matters on a long session.

A high-speed rotary motor runs at 7,000 strokes per minute, quietly enough not to upset most pets. The lithium-ion battery gives up to three hours of fade-free cordless runtime, and the clipper runs corded as well, so a dead battery never ends a groom halfway through. A 1.5-inch LED display shows battery level, charging status, travel lock, and a reminder when the blade needs oiling, which is the maintenance step owners most often forget.

The grip is ergonomic with a non-slip finish, and the whole clipper weighs about 7.7 ounces.

How to Use

Charge fully before first use. Set the blade length with the adjustment lever, or fit an attachment comb for a longer finish.

Oil the blade before each use and every ten to fifteen minutes during a session. Apply a few drops along the teeth, run the clipper briefly, then wipe off the excess. The LED reminder is there because a dry blade is the most common cause of a clipper that seems to lose power or pull at the coat.

Work with the lay of the coat and let the clipper's weight do the cutting rather than pressing down. Brush the coat out thoroughly first, since a clipper will not cut cleanly through mats.

Brush hair from the blade after every use.

Safety

Blades get hot with extended use. Check the temperature against the back of your hand periodically and pause if it's warm. Blade burn happens quickly and is easy to avoid.

Go slowly around the face, ears, sanitary areas, and between paw pads, where skin is thin and loose. Keep the skin taut.

If a coat is badly matted, a groomer or veterinarian is the safer option. Clipping through tight mats risks cutting the skin underneath.

Keep the clipper and charger away from water. Store out of reach of children and pets.
