Metoclopramide Tablets

Warnings

Pets who are allergic to sunscreen containing PABA (para-amino benzoic acid) should not take this medication. Pets who have pseudopregnancy (false pregnancy), a tumor called pheochromocytoma or who have blockage or bleeding in their stomach or intestines should also not take this medication.

Precautions

Use Metoclopramide with caution on pets who have a seizure disorder, had seizures in the past or who have been diagnosed with kidney disease.

Food and Drug Interactions

Other mediations can interact with Metoclopramide, be sure to disclose every medication and suppliment that is given to your dog before starting Metoclopramide.

May be given either with food or on an empty stomach.

Human Warnings

There are no specific precautions required when handling this medication unless you are allergic to it or allergic to the sunscreen ingredient PABA

Possible Side Effects

In dogs and cats, Metoclopramide is tolerated well, but your pet may experience side effects including diarrhea, restlessness, drowsiness, constipation, disorientation, or increased urinary frequency.

Contact your veterinarian if you believe your pet is experiencing side effects.
