Methylprednisolone Tablets (Sold Per Tablet)

Warnings

Methylprednisolone should not be used in patients that are receiving other drugs that can cause stomach ulcers, including aspirin or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs

(NSAIDS). That are allergic to it and other related medications (eg, prednisone, dexamethasone), that have diabetes, or that have stomach or intestinal ulcers.

Precautions

This drug should be used with caution in patients with fungal infections, that have heart or kidney disease, pregnant, have an infection, are young and growing. (Methylprednisolone can slow down growth when used for extended periods of time)

Food and Drug Interactions

Other drugs can interact with this medication, so be sure to tell your veterinarian and pharmacist what medications (including vitamins, supplements, or herbal therapies) you give your animal

Human Warnings

Keep away from children and other animals. Not for Human consumption

Possible Side Effects

Possible side effects include greater appetite, thirst, and need to urinate. Vomiting or diarrhea, mild behavioral changes, excessive panting in dogs.

Contact your veterinarian if you believe your pet is experiencing side effects.
