Product Description

Ocry-gel is a sterile ocular lubricant built on hyaluronic acid and carbomer, formulated to supplement the aqueous portion of the tear film. It provides hydration, protection, and comfort for eyes that don't produce or hold enough moisture on their own.

The gel base is the practical advantage over a drop. A gel stays on the surface of the eye considerably longer than a watery solution, which means fewer applications through the day and better coverage overnight. That matters for a dog with dry eye, for breeds whose eyes don't close fully when they sleep, and for a pet on a prescription tear stimulant who still needs comfort in between.

One tube covers dogs, cats, and horses, which is useful in a mixed household or barn.

How to Use

Apply into the affected eye as directed by your veterinarian. Hold your pet's head steady, pull the lower lid down gently, and apply a small ribbon into the pocket that forms, or as your veterinarian instructs.

Do not touch the tube tip to the eye, lid, or lashes, and recap it right away to keep it sterile.

If your pet is also on prescription eye medication, ask your veterinarian about the order and spacing. A gel can slow the absorption of a drop applied right after it, so most vets will have you use drops first and the lubricant a few minutes later.
