HomeoPet Anxiety Relief is a homeopathic liquid formulated to promote a sense of calm in pets facing everyday stressful situations. It's made for the moments that reliably set an animal on edge: a trip to the veterinarian or groomer, a boarding stay, a thunderstorm or fireworks, a move to unfamiliar surroundings, or a new pet joining the household.

Those situations show up differently depending on the animal. Dogs bark, whine, or shake. Cats hide. Birds pluck feathers. The liquid format makes it easy to give across all of them, whether that means dosing directly into the mouth, adding it to food or a treat, or mixing it into drinking water.

It's non-sedating, so it doesn't leave a pet groggy.

Directions

Dogs and cats, three times daily:
1 to 20 lbs — 5 drops
21 to 60 lbs — 10 drops
61 to 100 lbs — 15 drops
Over 100 lbs — 20 drops

Small mammals under 1 lb: 2 drops in water, three times daily.

Birds: 2 drops in at least 8 oz of drinking water daily.

The remedy can be given directly into the mouth, on food or a treat, or in water.

As symptoms improve, taper to twice daily, then once daily. Discontinue once symptoms have cleared. If they return, resume the original dosing.

Chamomilla 6c and 30c, Valeriana 6c and 30c, Borax 6c and 30c, Cypripedium pubescens 6c and 30c, Ignatia amara 6c and 30c, Colchicum autumnale 6c and 30c, Veratrum album 6c and 30c, in 20% USP alcohol in purified water.

Destructive behavior when left alone, self-injury, house soiling in a trained pet, or a sudden change in temperament can point to a genuine behavioral disorder or an underlying medical problem, and both have effective treatments. Feather plucking in birds in particular has a long list of medical causes and warrants an avian vet exam.
