Mal-A-Ket Shampoo is a unique, pleasant smelling, antifungal, antibacterial, deodorizing, and degreasing shampoo formulated for dogs, cats and horses. This shampoo supports healthy skin for animals with conditions responsive to ketoconazole and/or chlorhexidene. 8 oz bottle.

  • Acetic acid (AA) potentiates and stabilizes the ketoconazole

  • 2% AA has primary antimicrobial, antifungal properties, as well as excellent degreasing, cleansing and coat conditioning qualities

  • Ketoconazole has excellent antifungal properties

  • Chlorhexidine has potent antimicrobial functions: combined with AA, it has a wider antibacterial activity against gram negative and gram positive organisms

  • Manufacturered using GMP, and the highest quality ingredients

Instructions: Shake well before use. Apply to wet coat, rub onto skin and haircoat to create a rich lather. Allow shampoo to remain on skin and coat for 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse well. Use initially 2 to 4 times per week for 4 weeks, then reduce to once per week or as directed by your veterinarian.

2% chlorhexidene gluconate, 2% acetic acid, 1% ketoconazole. Also contains: lauramine oxide, cocamidopropyl betaine, decyl glycoside, tetrasodium EDTA, fragrance.
